My Bio
I'm actually a mechanical engineering major, dabbling with art in my "spare time" - drawing, mostly. In my opinion, art and engineering aren't that different; both are simply ways to understand how the world around us works, and both disciplines use that understanding to make something wonderful.

I've just realized that my new printer (although wonderful in other aspects) has a super crappy scanner. So now I have to default to photography, which I have no aptitude for, and always seems to conjure shadows out of well lit, 2-dimensional plain white paper. Now, I know that most DA regulars are full-time artists, by hobby or profession. It amazes me how prolific people are, and how mind-blowingly creative and original every single piece is (I'm looking at you, ~lyaazor). Those people are what make DA the amazing place it is. Yeaah... I'm not really like that. I have a confession to make. I'm an observer (not the Fringe kind). If I had to pick something art-related that I would say I'm good at, I wouldn't really choose art; I'd choose art appreciation. I like looking at art, staring at art, drinking in every detail, trying to connect with what's behind it. That's why I love DA - it's an endless s

I'M BACK, BABY.

Aaah, it has been far too long since I've breathed in the fresh pixels of deviantART. After many years of absence, I've decided to wipe my slate clean and start again (after all, I've been really needing another time-sucking internet occupation lately). I came to this conclusion after looking at my math notes and realizing that there were doodles in the margins - a sure sign that my creative brain-juices, which had been sucked up for so long by alternative occupations, were running through the drawing part of my cerebrum again. Of course, these doodles are about as publishable as the ones I made before (which were not very publishable, in cas

maddie, how is our joint custody of our watch going to work over the summer?
Well ya know, Watchy hasn't had much time with you lately. I think he can hang out at your place for a while, and later if you happen to catch sight of me around then you can hand him off. Sound good?
